Semi Automatic Rotary Bottle Washing Machine
Compact Geneva-indexed rotary bottle washing machine for glass and plastic containers, featuring four internal water washes, an external wash and an air wash with manual bottle loading.

Machine Overview
The Semi Automatic Rotary Bottle Washing Machine manufactured by Technogen Enterprise is designed for internal and external washing of glass and compatible plastic bottles used in industrial packaging operations. It is a practical option for manufacturers requiring controlled bottle washing at lower production volumes without the investment in a fully automatic bottle washing line.
The machine operates through a rotary intermittent indexing mechanism driven by a Geneva system. Operators manually load empty bottles into the washing pockets and remove them following the washing sequence. The intermittent movement positions containers at the washing stations, where the selected water and air media are applied through dedicated spray arrangements.
The standard configuration provides four internal washing operations, one external washing operation and one air washing operation. The specified water washing sequence includes fresh water for the first and third internal washes, hot detergent for the second wash, and DM or DI water for the fourth wash. Fresh water is also specified for external bottle washing. The sequence can be customized according to customer requirements.
The machine uses stationary washing nozzles, reducing movement of the spray assemblies and helping avoid contact between nozzles and bottle necks. High-pressure spray nozzles direct washing media toward the appropriate bottle surfaces. Individual solenoid valves provide control of the designated washing cycles.
Designed for both round and flat bottles, the machine accommodates bottle diameters of 24 mm to 100 mm, neck diameters of 20 mm to 40 mm, and bottle heights up to 290 mm. Its specified production capacity is 60 to 100 bottles per minute, depending on operator efficiency and handling conditions.
To simplify maintenance access, the washing pumps and tanks are described as mounted on a portable support stand. Higher-capacity centrifugal pumps are described for larger-bottle washing applications, and water recycling can be incorporated according to the required washing process.
Technogen Enterprise, based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, is a manufacturer, supplier and exporter of bottle washing machines for packaging operations requiring flexible manual handling, adjustable washing sequences and mechanically controlled rotary operation.
Applications
Operating Principle
The machine works through a Geneva-driven intermittent rotary indexing system, where the operator manually loads bottles and the rotary mechanism carries them through successive water and air washing positions.
Manual Bottle Loading
The operator loads empty glass or plastic bottles into the machine pockets. The machine is described with two-row manual loading and unloading access.
Intermittent Rotary Indexing
The Geneva drive indexes the bottle carriers through the washing positions, holding them stationary for the individual washing operations.
First Internal Wash — Fresh Water
Fresh water is directed into the bottle through the stationary spraying arrangement for the first internal washing stage.
Second Internal Wash — Hot Detergent
Hot detergent washing is used for the second internal stage according to the specified washing sequence.
Third Internal Wash — Fresh Water
A further fresh-water washing stage follows the detergent stage to continue the internal cleaning sequence.
Fourth Internal Wash — DM or DI Water
The fourth internal washing stage uses DM or DI water as specified for the application.
External Washing and Air Cycle
Fresh water is specified for exterior washing. A separate air wash is included in the machine configuration; its precise position in the overall sequence is established according to the selected washing arrangement.
Bottle Unloading
After washing, the operator manually removes the processed bottles. Washing-medium supply is controlled through solenoid valves, while the pump and tank assemblies are accessible for routine servicing.
