Machine Overview

The Automatic Tablet Counting and Filling Machine manufactured by Technogen Enterprise is an integrated electronic counting and bottle filling system designed for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and compatible solid-dose packaging operations. The equipment automatically feeds, counts and dispenses tablets, capsules, pills and softgel products into containers, reducing dependence on manual counting and bottle handling.

The machine incorporates a vibratory product feeding system that distributes tablets or capsules across dedicated counting channels. Controlled product presentation helps separate units as they approach the sensors, enabling the electronic counting system to detect individual products and accumulate the required preset quantity.

The standard technical specification identifies 8-channel and 16-channel configurations, with production rates of up to 30–40 bottles per minute and up to 60 bottles per minute, respectively. The selected bottle count can be programmed from 10 to 1000 units per container. Actual throughput depends on count quantity, product size, channel feed characteristics and container handling.

The machine incorporates a No Bottle–No Count–No Fill arrangement, designed to stop the counting and filling sequence when the required container is not present. An integrated bottle conveyor transfers suitable round or flat bottles between the infeed and filling sections. The stated container materials include glass, HDPE, PET, LDPE and other compatible plastics.

Machine control is provided through a PLC and 7-inch Delta touchscreen HMI, with operating settings for different products and packaging requirements. The product description identifies anti-dust counting sensors, programmable settings and provisions for rejecting unsuitable products. Specific inspection and rejection configurations should be agreed during technical specification finalization.

The machine is constructed using AISI 304 stainless steel, with modular filling-channel arrangements and accessible operating components. Optional provisions include expanded channel configurations, electronic audit trail functionality, safety enclosures, validation documents and additional inspection equipment.

Technogen Enterprise manufactures, supplies and exports automatic tablet and capsule counting machines from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India for manufacturers requiring inline solid-dose bottle packaging with electronically controlled product counting.

Operating Principle

The automatic system uses vibratory feeding, individual counting channels, electronic product sensors and PLC-controlled bottle filling to achieve the programmed unit count per container.

Bulk Product Loading

Tablets, capsules or suitable solid-dose units are loaded into the product feeding system.

Vibratory Feeding and Distribution

Controlled vibration distributes the products into multiple counting channels for movement toward the sensor region.

Product Separation and Counting

Products travel through the counting paths and are individually detected by electronic sensors. Counting signals are accumulated against the programmed bottle quantity.

Automatic Bottle Feeding

Empty containers are advanced on the machine conveyor toward the filling position.

No Bottle–No Count–No Fill Control

The bottle-presence arrangement inhibits counting and filling when a required container is not correctly available.

Count Completion and Discharge

Once the programmed number of tablets or capsules has been counted, the measured product group is discharged into the positioned bottle.

Bottle Transfer and Next Cycle

The filled container advances toward the next packaging station, and the counting sequence is repeated for the following bottle.

Operator Control and Product Changeover

Product and container settings are adjusted through the PLC-HMI interface. Feeding and counting performance are verified during changeover to a different tablet or capsule format.
