Cap feeding is a supporting production stage, not a standalone cap-tightening or bottle-closing operation.

An appropriately selected elevator helps transfer caps from a bulk loading point toward an orientation or supply interface. Actual flow depends on cap size, material, shape, nesting tendency and downstream consumption rate. Depending on the production line, a separate sorting or orientation arrangement may be necessary; an elevator alone should not be assumed to perform every cap-orientation function.
