Machine Overview

The Rinsing Filling Capping (RFC) Water Bottle Machine manufactured by Technogen Enterprise is an integrated automatic packaging system designed to rinse, fill and screw-cap compatible packaged drinking water and mineral water bottles. The machine combines three key bottling operations in a synchronized rotary arrangement, helping reduce separate machine transfers and simplifying water bottling line organization.

The equipment incorporates rotary neck-holding technology, which supports and transports bottles through the rinsing, filling and capping stages. This arrangement is particularly relevant for lightweight PET water bottles, where suitable neck support helps maintain controlled container handling without excessive pressure on the bottle body.

Empty bottles are fed through an air-blow infeed conveyor and transferred into the rotary processing machine. The specified monoblock is available in five configurations with outputs of 24, 30, 40, 60 and 90 bottles per minute for 1000 ml bottles. It handles a stated filling range of 100 ml to 1000 ml, with a specified filling accuracy of ±1%.

The machine incorporates a No Bottle–No Rinse–No Fill–No Cap arrangement, coordinating the operating stages with bottle availability. This helps reduce unnecessary water discharge and cap consumption during irregular container feeding.

The capping section uses a pick-and-place type screw capping arrangement, supported by a vibratory cap feeder and chute. Magnetic hysteresis capping heads are specified for controlled screw cap application. The equipment also features accessible filling nozzles for cleaning, adjustable speed through a variable frequency drive and a speed display on the operating panel.

The machine is designed for integration with suitable downstream equipment, including automatic bottle labeling machines, online shrink tunnels and inkjet coding systems. Line performance depends on the selected bottle format, water handling arrangements, cap design and synchronized equipment operation.

Technogen Enterprise manufactures, supplies and exports water bottling machinery from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, offering various RFC configurations for businesses establishing or expanding packaged drinking water production lines.

Operating Principle

The RFC machine performs automatic bottle rinsing, water filling and screw capping within a coordinated rotary bottling system.

Empty Bottle Feeding

Empty bottles enter through the specified air-blow conveyor and are transferred toward the rotary neck-holding mechanism.

Bottle Neck Holding

The rotary mechanism holds bottles at their necks to maintain container positioning through the processing sequence.

Bottle Rinsing

Bottles pass through the rinsing station. The rinse operation is coordinated with bottle availability through the No Bottle–No Rinse function.

Water Filling

Rinsed bottles are conveyed to the filling station, where the filling heads dispense the selected water volume. The No Bottle–No Fill interlock prevents filling at an empty position.

Cap Feeding

Screw caps are supplied through the vibratory feeder and delivered to the capping area through the cap chute.

Pick-and-Place Screw Capping

The capping mechanism places caps onto the bottle necks and applies them using the specified magnetic hysteresis capping heads.

Discharge to Downstream Equipment

Finished bottles are transferred toward associated packaging equipment such as labeling, coding or shrink-packaging machinery.

Speed Adjustment and Monitoring

A variable frequency drive provides speed adjustment, and the operating panel displays machine speed for production monitoring.
