Machine Overview
The Automatic Rotary Bottle Screw Capping Machine manufactured by Technogen Enterprise is a multi-head continuous-motion rotary capping system designed for applying suitable threaded screw closures to glass, PET, HDPE, LDPE and other compatible plastic bottles.
The distinguishing feature of this machine is its chute-pickup screw capping mechanism, in which screw caps are supplied from the cap feeder through a delivery chute. The bottle moves through the starwheel and cap pickup position, after which the capping head completes the threaded closure-tightening operation.
The fully specified range includes 4-head, 6-head and 8-head configurations, with rated capacities of approximately 60–70, 110–120 and 130–140 bottles per minute, respectively, depending on bottle diameter. The selected capping arrangement should be matched to actual bottle dimensions, cap requirements and production targets.
A worm gearbox and main motor provide transmission for the synchronized conveyor, feed worm, starwheel system and rotary turret. Variable frequency drive control enables adjustment of machine speed.
The machine incorporates jaw-type screw capping heads with mechanical torque adjustment. Cap feeding can be configured through a vibratory bowl feeder, mechanical orientator or cap elevator, depending on the closure dimensions and presentation characteristics.
Stainless steel bottle and cap-contact components are specified in AISI 304, while a stainless steel slat conveyor is included. A plastic modular belt or Delrin slat conveyor can be supplied as an alternative arrangement.
The machine incorporates No Bottle–No Cap protection and mechanical safety clutches to reduce problems resulting from abnormal bottle handling. A six-digit production counter supports output monitoring.

Operating Principle
The machine uses a rotary continuous-motion chute-pickup arrangement, in which caps are presented from a delivery chute as bottles pass through the capping positions.
Bottle Infeed and Separation
Bottles enter the conveyor and are separated through the feed worm before transfer into the rotary starwheel.
Screw Cap Orientation
Caps are supplied by the selected vibratory or mechanical feeding system and guided into the cap delivery chute.
Chute Pickup
The rotating bottle handling mechanism moves bottles beneath the chute pickup position so that screw caps are presented to the bottle-neck region.
Bottle Presence Verification
The No Bottle–No Cap system inhibits inappropriate cap application where a bottle is absent.
Rotary Screw Capping
The jaw-type capping head grips and tightens the screw closure as the bottle continues through the rotary machine.
Torque Adjustment
The mechanical torque adjustment setting is selected according to cap and bottle-neck requirements.
Discharge and Protection
Capped bottles transfer to the outfeed conveyor. Mechanical safety clutches protect the starwheel system against the specified handling abnormalities.
