Machine Overview
The Ampoule Filling and Sealing Machine from Technogen Enterprise is an integrated pharmaceutical packaging system designed to carry out liquid filling and sealing of glass ampoules within one synchronized production machine. Available in four-head, six-head and eight-head configurations, the machine coordinates ampoule transport, liquid dosing and sealing for production lines handling compatible liquid preparations.
The equipment uses a mechanically synchronized drive arrangement incorporating an induction gear motor and worm gearbox. This provides coordinated movement between the ampoule transportation, filling and sealing stations, reducing the need for independent manual handling between operations.
An AISI 304 stainless steel machine frame supports the operating mechanisms, while AISI 316L stainless steel liquid-contact components are specified for product handling. Diving filling nozzles help reduce foaming and product spillage. The machine includes a No Ampoule–No Fill arrangement to avoid unnecessary liquid discharge when the required container is absent.
The sealing section features a draw-jaw sealing mechanism, followed by the transfer of sealed ampoules to the collection tray through the machine's pusher mechanism. Provision can be made for pre-gassing and post-gassing according to product requirements and the agreed configuration.
The three configurations have stated outputs of approximately 60, 120 and 160 ampoules per minute, depending on ampoule diameter. The technical specification covers 1 ml to 10 ml filling with ±1% specified accuracy. Performance and sealing quality remain dependent on ampoule dimensions, material quality, liquid properties and operating conditions.

Operating Principle
The machine carries out ampoule transport, volumetric liquid filling and draw-jaw sealing in a synchronized sequence. Its mechanical drive coordinates the movement of the transport, filling and sealing mechanisms.
Ampoule Loading
Empty glass ampoules are introduced through the specified infeed tray arrangement and transferred into the machine's transport mechanism.
Ampoule Positioning and Detection
Ampoules are indexed toward the filling area. The No Ampoule–No Fill mechanism prevents unnecessary discharge when an ampoule is absent.
Liquid Filling
Product is dispensed through the filling heads into appropriately positioned ampoules. Diving nozzles help reduce liquid splash and foaming.
Optional Gas Treatment
Pre-gassing and post-gassing arrangements can be incorporated when specified for the product and packaging process.
Draw-Jaw Sealing
Filled ampoules are transported to the sealing station, where the draw-jaw sealing mechanism performs the closing operation.
Discharge and Collection
The pusher mechanism moves sealed ampoules to the collection tray for removal and further inspection or handling.
Monitoring and Safety
An integrated counting arrangement supports production monitoring, while an emergency stop provides machine shutdown capability.
