Air Tray Dryer
Insulated batch hot-air tray dryer with TGTD-24, TGTD-48 and TGTD-96 configurations. Engineered by Technogen Enterprise, Ahmedabad, India.

Machine Overview
Technogen Enterprise manufactures Air Tray Dryers for batch drying of powders, granules, herbs, food ingredients and other materials that can be spread on trays for controlled hot-air exposure. Based in Ahmedabad, India, the company is a manufacturer, supplier and exporter of Air Tray Dryer Machines for pharmaceutical, chemical, food and laboratory applications. The equipment uses forced air circulation through an insulated drying chamber to help remove moisture from material placed on stainless steel trays.
A tray dryer is selected when a product benefits from relatively straightforward batch loading, temperature control and access for inspection during drying. The supplied design mentions stainless steel construction options in SS 304, SS 316 or SS 316L, heating by electrical elements and optional steam arrangements. Insulation, door sealing and circulating fans support controlled chamber conditions, while the product specificationed safety arrangement interlocks the heater with the blower motor. Different tray counts allow the buyer to match drying area and batch requirements.
The technical specification lists TGTD-24, TGTD-48 and TGTD-96 models, with separate tray counts, nominal capacities, heater loads and fan motors. Buyers should distinguish chamber temperature capability from the temperature actually suitable for their material. Product layer depth, starting moisture, desired final moisture, exposure time and ventilation conditions influence the drying result and must be considered during equipment selection.
Applications
Operating Principle
The Air Tray Dryer works by forced convection. Material is placed in shallow layers on removable trays while heated air circulates through the enclosed chamber. Heat passes from the moving air into the material, moisture evaporates and humid air is exhausted according to the configured ventilation path.
Preparing and Loading Trays
The product is distributed across the available trays in an appropriate layer thickness. Correct loading supports even contact with the circulating air and avoids local overloading.
Setting Temperature and Time
The operator selects a drying temperature and period suitable for the particular product. The control system regulates heater operation using the installed temperature-sensing arrangement.
Circulating Heated Air
An axial or blower fan drives air through the chamber. The heated stream passes around the loaded trays and supplies the convective energy needed to remove moisture.
Exhausting Moisture
Moisture evaporates from the material surface into the chamber air. Humid air is vented and replacement air is heated as required by the dryer configuration.
Cooling and Unloading
At the end of the specified cycle, heating is stopped and the product is allowed to cool as appropriate. Trays are then removed for product collection and cleaning.
Process Selection Consideration
Material layer thickness and total airflow distribution affect the time required to reach the target moisture. Temperature capability alone does not establish a safe process temperature for every product.
