Automatic Volumetric Liquid Filling Machine
Automatic volumetric liquid filling machine with 2 to 12 filling heads, designed for accurate bottle filling from 5 ml to 1000 ml. Features syringe-based filling, diving nozzles, stainless steel construction and automatic No Bottle–No Fill operation.

Machine Overview
The Automatic Volumetric Liquid Filling Machine manufactured by Technogen Enterprise is designed for precise and consistent filling of liquid products into bottles using a mechanically operated volumetric syringe filling system. Developed for automatic bottle packaging lines, the equipment combines controlled liquid metering, synchronized bottle movement and multi-head filling to support efficient industrial production.
The machine is available in 2, 4, 6, 8 and 12 filling-head configurations, enabling manufacturers to select equipment according to their required production capacity. Depending on the selected configuration, the rated output ranges from 25 to 150 bottles per minute. Actual production performance depends on the filling volume, liquid characteristics, bottle dimensions and operating conditions.
The filling mechanism works on the volumetric syringe principle. Liquid is drawn from the product supply tank into precision metering syringes and subsequently discharged into the bottles through individual filling nozzles. The eccentricity of the ram shaft can be adjusted to regulate the syringe stroke and achieve the required filling volume, with a specified filling accuracy of ±1% under suitable operating conditions.
The equipment accommodates filling volumes from 5 ml to 1000 ml through appropriate syringe selection and stroke adjustment. An additional-stroke arrangement is provided for larger volumes, allowing manufacturers to handle different packaging requirements on the same machine platform.
For reliable bottle handling, the machine incorporates a photoelectric bottle-detection sensor and a No Bottle–No Fill arrangement. When a bottle is absent at the filling station, the corresponding filling operation is inhibited, helping prevent product wastage and unnecessary liquid discharge.
The diving nozzle arrangement helps minimize splashing and foaming during filling, while a self-centering mechanism accommodates minor bottle non-concentricity. Tool-less adjustable conveyor guide rails facilitate bottle-size changeovers, making the machine suitable for production environments handling multiple container formats.
In line with its cGMP-oriented construction, the machine body and conveyor structure are manufactured using AISI 304 stainless steel, while components that directly contact the liquid are manufactured using AISI 316L stainless steel. The construction supports hygienic handling, durability and convenient routine cleaning.
Additional features include variable frequency drive speed control, an inbuilt six-digit production counter and a liquid collection tray beneath the conveyor. Optional configurations include PLC-HMI controls, product buffer tank arrangements, machine safety enclosures, status indication and laminar airflow systems as required by the application.
Suitable for applications in the pharmaceutical, food, beverage and cosmetics industries, the Automatic Volumetric Liquid Filling Machine offers a practical solution for businesses seeking repeatable filling accuracy, flexible bottle handling and scalable production capacity.
Technogen Enterprise, based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, is a manufacturer, supplier and exporter of automatic liquid filling machinery serving packaging operations in domestic and international markets.
Applications
Operating Principle
The Automatic Volumetric Liquid Filling Machine operates on a volumetric syringe filling principle, combining controlled liquid suction and discharge with automatic bottle conveying, bottle detection and synchronized multi-head filling.
Liquid Supply and Feeding
Liquid is supplied from the product tank to the volumetric syringe filling mechanism. During the suction stroke, the syringe pistons draw a predetermined quantity of liquid into their respective metering chambers. The metered quantity depends on the selected syringe capacity and the adjusted filling stroke.
Automatic Bottle Conveying
Empty bottles enter the machine through the stainless steel conveyor and travel toward the filling station. Adjustable conveyor guide rails accommodate different bottle diameters and help maintain appropriate bottle positioning during transportation.
Photoelectric Bottle Detection
A photoelectric sensor detects the presence of bottles at the filling station. The No Bottle–No Fill function prevents filling when the required bottle is absent, helping minimize product wastage and unnecessary discharge.
Volumetric Syringe Metering
The filling system utilizes mechanically operated volumetric syringes. The adjustable eccentricity of the ram shaft enables the filling stroke to be regulated according to the required dispensing volume. Syringe selection and stroke adjustment allow the machine to accommodate its specified filling range.
Diving Nozzle Filling
During the filling operation, the diving nozzles move into the bottle necks to deliver the measured liquid. This arrangement helps reduce splashing and foaming during product discharge. The self-centering mechanism helps accommodate minor variations in bottle concentricity.
Liquid Discharge and Volume Control
During the discharge stroke, liquid is expelled from the metering syringes through the filling nozzles into the bottles. The selected syringe stroke determines the dispensing quantity. For larger filling volumes, the specified additional-stroke arrangement enables filling up to 1000 ml.
Nozzle Withdrawal and Bottle Release
Upon completion of the filling stroke, the nozzles withdraw and the filled bottles are conveyed toward the downstream packaging operation. Incoming empty bottles are subsequently positioned for the next filling cycle.
Speed Control and Production Monitoring
The variable frequency drive provides machine speed adjustment according to the filling requirements and operating conditions. An inbuilt six-digit production counter enables operators to monitor machine production output.
Liquid Collection and Equipment Protection
A liquid collection tray with an outlet is provided beneath the conveyor to collect incidental product spillage. The arrangement helps protect the mechanical transmission assemblies and supports cleaner routine operation.
