Multi Mills
Portable multipurpose mill for granulation, chopping and size reduction with interchangeable beaters and screens. Engineered by Technogen Enterprise, Ahmedabad, India.

Machine Overview
Technogen Enterprise manufactures Multi Mills for size reduction and processing of dry and wet ingredients used in pharmaceutical, food, nutraceutical and chemical production. A Multi Mill is a compact processing machine designed to carry out operations such as granulation, pulverising, chopping and shredding by changing its beater and screen configuration. This flexibility is valuable where a production unit needs to process different formulations without a separate machine for every particle-size requirement.
The machine works through a rotating beater assembly within a perforated screen. The process result depends on the selected knife, impact or scraper action, the installed screen perforation and the operating speed. The supplied product description identifies 12 beaters with knife and impact edges plus two scraper blades, with rotor speeds of 750, 1500, 2300 and 3000 rpm. An output range of 50 to 200 kg/hour is specified, subject to the application. Product-contact surfaces and blade metallurgy are described separately and should not be treated as the same grade.
Based in Ahmedabad, Technogen Enterprise is a manufacturer, supplier and exporter of Multi Mill Machines for process lines requiring practical changeover, cleaning access and equipment mobility. Buyers should share incoming particle size, target output, moisture condition, batch density and expected throughput to select suitable screen and beater arrangements. A trial may be needed where ingredient fragility, cohesion or heat sensitivity affects the milling result.
Applications
Operating Principle
The Multi Mill processes material through a controlled interaction between a high-speed rotor, interchangeable beaters and a perforated screen. The rotor strikes or cuts the incoming product, and processed material exits after passing through the selected screen opening.
Material Feeding
Ingredients enter the processing chamber from the feed hopper. Product condition and feed rate should be compatible with the intended milling action and prevent the chamber from becoming overloaded.
Beater and Screen Selection
The operator selects the specified knife, impact or scraper arrangement and fits the perforated screen appropriate for the desired process. The resulting particle size depends on the product, rotor speed and perforation.
Rotor Operation
The motor drives the beater assembly at the selected operating speed. The technical specification identifies four rotor speed settings and describes a reversible direction arrangement for knife and impact operation.
Granulation or Size Reduction
Rotating beaters apply mechanical action to the material. Product is reduced, broken up or processed until its size and movement allow it to pass through the installed screen.
Discharge and Cleaning
Processed material exits from the lower discharge arrangement. After isolation, the contact components and screen can be dismantled for cleaning or replacement before the next product.
Process Selection Consideration
The milling result should be evaluated using the actual formulation because brittle granules, cohesive powders and heat-sensitive substances can respond differently to the same beater and screen combination.
