Machine Overview

The Automatic Tunnel Type Linear Bottle Washing Machine from Technogen Enterprise is designed for automated internal and external washing of bottles in a linear intermittent-motion machine. Suitable for compatible glass, PET, HDPE and other plastic containers, it serves pharmaceutical, cosmetic, chemical and other industrial packaging applications where bottle washing must be integrated with a production line.

The machine incorporates five internal washing operations and two external washing operations, with washing media directed through dedicated spray zones. The washing cycle and spray duration can be adjusted electrically to suit different bottle configurations and washing requirements.

The system is equipped with two AISI 316L stainless steel tanks and associated pumps, one for recirculated washing water and one for DM water. The tanks and pumps are arranged for maintenance access. High-pressure spray nozzles deliver the washing media to the required bottle surfaces, and an appropriate filtration system is provided for recycled water, DM water and compressed air.

Available in four configurations, the machine provides nominal capacities up to 60, 120, 240 and 300 bottles per minute. The standard bottle input specification accommodates 30 ml to 200 ml bottles without major change parts, with other bottle sizes supported through appropriate changes or customized machine configurations.

The machine body and doors are made using AISI 304 stainless steel. Its process-monitoring arrangement includes three glycerine-filled pressure gauges for recycled water, DM water and compressed air. A sensorless variable frequency drive is specified for speed adjustment.

Two emergency-stop switches are fitted at the infeed and outfeed sides. Options include a PLC-HMI interface, a drying station, a pre-inspection unit and a bottle lifting device at infeed, depending on the selected project scope.

Technogen Enterprise manufactures, supplies and exports automatic tunnel bottle washers from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, offering configurable linear washing systems for manufacturers requiring controlled internal/external cleaning and integration into automated bottling lines.

Operating Principle

The automatic tunnel washer uses linear intermittent container movement, with spray-zone operation synchronized to bottle position and the selected wash cycle.

Bottle Infeed

Empty bottles enter the linear transport mechanism and are positioned for transfer through the washing tunnel.

Intermittent Indexing

The machine moves bottles through the successive washing positions in a controlled intermittent sequence.

Internal Washing Zones

Five internal washing operations direct the designated washing media through high-pressure spray nozzles toward the internal bottle surfaces.

External Washing Zones

Two external wash operations apply washing media to the bottle exterior. Spray duration is controlled according to the selected process.

Washing Media Supply

Separate AISI 316L tanks and pumps supply recirculated water and DM water. Filtration arrangements are provided for the applicable washing media and compressed air.

Pressure and Speed Monitoring

Glycerine-filled gauges indicate recycled water, DM water and compressed-air pressures. The variable frequency drive provides operating-speed adjustment.

Bottle Outfeed

Following the designated wash sequence, processed bottles are discharged to the following handling or packaging operation. Optional inspection or drying equipment may be incorporated.
