Machine Overview
The Automatic Single Head ROPP Capping Machine from Technogen Enterprise is designed to apply aluminium Roll-On Pilfer-Proof caps to suitable glass, PET and plastic bottles through an automated bottle transport and capping process. This machine is intended for production lines requiring synchronized bottle feeding and a single mechanically operated ROPP sealing head.
The specified production capacity is up to 50 bottles per minute, depending on container diameter and height. The equipment employs a cam-and-follower indexing arrangement with a bottle conveyor and starwheel handling system, allowing containers to be positioned beneath the capping head in a coordinated sequence.
The machine includes an AISI 304 stainless steel matt-finished body, with bottle and cap-contact components specified in the same stainless steel grade. A common motor synchronizes the conveyor, starwheels and capping mechanisms, while the variable frequency drive permits operating-speed variation.
The ROPP sealing head uses an adjustable pressure arrangement to accommodate different aluminium closure requirements. The stated compatible cap diameters are 22 mm, 25 mm and 28 mm, using appropriate change parts. The machine is specified for bottles 22–75 mm in diameter and 55–110 mm in height.
The capping machine incorporates a No Bottle–No Cap system, mechanical safety clutches at the starwheel and an outfeed-jam machine stop arrangement. An emergency-stop function is also described. These provisions coordinate safe machine operation with bottle position and handling conditions.
Depending on cap geometry, the machine can be configured with vibratory cap feeding or mechanical cap orientation. The adjustable conveyor guide rails and dedicated change parts support bottle format adjustments. An inbuilt production counter is provided for output monitoring.
Optional equipment includes PLC-HMI operation, an automatic capping-head height adjustment arrangement and a safety cabinet constructed using toughened glass, polycarbonate or acrylic.

Operating Principle
Bottle Feeding
Bottles travel on the stainless steel conveyor into the indexing arrangement, with adjustable guide rails maintaining alignment.
Bottle Indexing
The cam-and-follower system and starwheel position the bottle at the capping station.
ROPP Cap Feeding
Aluminium ROPP caps are supplied by the selected vibratory or mechanical orientation mechanism and delivered to the capping area.
Bottle Presence Verification
The No Bottle–No Cap system inhibits the sealing operation when a bottle is not available at the required position.
ROPP Sealing
The capping head mechanically forms the aluminium cap against the bottle-neck finish using adjustable sealing pressure.
Bottle Discharge
Sealed bottles move to the outfeed conveyor through the synchronized transport arrangement.
